Byron Days Parade

Every summer, Hangar students look forward to being part of one of Byron Center’s biggest community celebrations—the Byron Days Parade! For our students, it’s more than just a parade; it’s a chance to get out, have fun, and be part of something bigger than themselves. They love waving to the crowd, passing out candy, cheering on the other floats, and seeing familiar faces throughout the community. Being surrounded by so much encouragement and support reminds our students that they have a community cheering them on. It’s always a day full of laughter, excitement, and plenty of memories—and one our students look forward to every year!

Hangar Golf Outing

Every year, friends, families, businesses, and community members come together for the Hangar Golf Outing—a fun day on the course that makes a big impact! While the day is filled with friendly competition, good food, plenty of laughs, and maybe a few questionable golf shots, the real goal is supporting the students who call Hangar home. This annual event helps provide the programs, activities, and opportunities that make Hangar a place where students can grow, connect, and feel supported. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who tees up, sponsors, volunteers, and cheers us on each year. It’s more than just a day of golf—it’s our community coming together to invest in the next generation!
